Education Programme

The programmes are aligned with the Department of Education National Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statements (CAPS) to complement the curriculum, enhance learning, promote scientific literacy and engagement in Natural Science, Social Science, Arts and Culture particularly for learners. Visiting learners and their teachers engage with authentic artifacts, specimens, scientists, historians, specialist and live animals.

We believe that through our engagement and support of school groups we can provide learners with new knowledge and perspectives, with impacts that can last for years. These interactions have the potential to make meaning, engender greater understanding of complex concepts, foster positive cognitive, affective and social outcomes for learners and provide support to teachers.

Inclusive education is important and learners with special needs, learning challenges and barriers are included.
