Scientific name: Boa constrictor
Diet: Constrictors feeding on small mammals like rat and bats.
Overview: Identifyable by red markings on their tail. Grow between 2 - 3m and can weigh up to 45 kg
Reproduction: Give birth to a small number of live young with the females breeding once a year.
Natural Enemies: Predation on adults is rare due to size however it can be preyed on by crocodiles and big wild cats. Young by bird, wild dogs and other snakes.
