Scientific name: Malayopython reticulatus

Diet: Powerful Constrictor : Feeds on Small to medium mammals, birds and lizards

Overview: World's longest snake reaching length of 9,7m

Reproduction: Female lays up to 80 eggs which hatch after ±88 days. Females are capable of keeping male sperm inside her until conditions are favourable for fertilisation.

Natural Enemies: Predation on adults is very rare due to size however it has been recorded where it is preyed on by crocodiles and big wild cats. Young by bird, wild dogs and other snakes.
