In the true spirit of Science, the Port Elizabeth Museum at Bayworld is hosting an exciting exhibition to celebrate National Science week. The exhibit, entitled “Shark World” is the brainchild of shark expert Dr Matt Dicken, who is a Research Associate at Bayworld.

Bayworld is again hosting an exciting Children’s Holiday Programme during the upcoming school holiday period. Due to popular demand participants will be able to enjoy various beach sports and self defense activities; cookery and craft classes, science demonstrations, trampoline and dance, exercises and the seal and penguin presentations in the Oceanarium.

Bayworld will be opening a new exhibition entitled Laduma Football Expo in the Museum in June 2010 to coincide with the hosting of the FIFA World Cup and requires the people of Nelson Mandela Bay to get involved.

Bayworld is the place to be this holiday season with a brand new exhibition opening on Friday, 18 December 2009. This magnificent temporary exhibition, entitled Africa’s Lost World, features life size animatronic dinosaurs of which many previously inhabited Southern Africa.
