Corporate Membership
In our efforts to grow and share the results of research and study with all local communities, the Education Programme at Bayworld presents a unique experience for both teachers and learners. Themed lessons enable learners to become acquainted with many aspects of the Nelson Mandela Bay environment. Lessons are learner-centred, relevant to today’s world and designed to complement current developments such as Outcomes-Based Education.
Although this Programme reaches approximately 80 000 learners each year, there are still a large number of children who are not in a position to make use of this service.
The Corporate Membership Programme focuses specifically on the corporate social responsibilitya companies. Dependent on the package purchased, a number of disadvantaged learners will be afforded the opportunity to visit Bayworld on a unique educational experience. The supervised visit includes transport, classes, lunch, dolphin presentation and a guided tour.
Joining the Corporate Membership Programme of Bayworld will not only play a vital role in assisting us to realise our goals of meeting the needs of the communities we serve and ensuring the wellbeing of the animals in our care, but also ensure a memorable experience to a child who otherwise would not have been able to experience the excitement. - Educational outing for up to 240 previously disadvantaged learners to Bayworld
- 20 Complimentary tickets (once off)
- Invitations to new exhibition openings (maximum of five staff per event)
